DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using HashiCorp tools like Terraform for provisioning, Packer for image building, Vault for secrets management, and Nomad for container orchestration.
• Automate CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient, reliable, and scalable deployments across hybrid environments.
• Implement, manage and maintain KVM open source virtualization software.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, security, and availability using integrated monitoring and logging solutions.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement best practices for infrastructure automation, data protection, disaster recovery, and compliance.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve infrastructure efficiency and reduce operational overhead.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proven expertise in HashiCorp Stack (Hashistack) solutions, including Packer, Terraform, Vault, Nomad, and related tools.
• Strong proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of networking, security principles, and cloud architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with OpenStack and KVM for managing private cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, VPC) or Azure (e.g., Virtual Machines, Blob Storage, Virtual Networks).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack and OpenSearch.
• Certifications in HashiCorp tools (e.g., Terraform Associate), AWS, Azure, or related DevOps certifications.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience in a CI/CD-driven environment.
